We, The Mixx Radio and Lou-Ra Entertainment are pleased to announce the acquisition of
Ultimate Radio (www.ultimateradio.org)
The Mixx will absorb Ultimate Radio's Staff as well as a 25 slot broadcast server, as well as any
and all of Ultimate Radio’s graphics, liners and anything else Ultimate Radio had rights to for its
station.
Other staff changes will be made as Mixx radio owners See Fit.
With this news, we hope to secure our foothold in the ever growing world of Internet radio…

TROOP
Troop was a California teen band that got its start by winning $1000 in a talent show in the
mid-'80s. The Pasadena, California group were then signed to Atlantic, and their debut single,
"Mamacita," reached number two on the R&B charts in 1989. It was modeled after their
inspiration, New Edition, whose "Cool It Now" they had lip synched to win the contest. Levert
served as their producers on "Mamacita," which appeared on their self-titled debut.
Their second release, Attitude, earned a platinum certification in 1990, their third release was
Deepa in 1992, followed by Lil Sumpin Sumpin in 1994. The members of Troop have over15
years of industry experience and during this time have developed their writing skills and
mastered vocal performance.
Lead singer, Steve Russell, also known as Lil‘ Steve has re-emerged as a songwriter for the
likes of B2K, Mario, and Tyrese. Russell co-wrote B2K's "Gots Ta Be", "Why I Love You" and
"Understanding," along with two songs on Mario's debut album; and a song for Tyrese's J
Records debut. Al Mac, has worked with groups and artists such as, Snoop Dogg, SWV, Baby
Face, Stevie Wonder, and the list goes on.
Look forward to hearing a lot more from Troop at a venue near you or on their upcoming album,
which contains the hot new single “Thizzle” that’s blazing airwaves across the country!
